
Dr. Sarch is Professor of Violin and Viola and Conductor of the Symphony Orchestra at Mansfield University. He teaches Performance, Music Education and non-performance violin and viola majors. In addition, he directs the university symphony orchestra which studies and performs the standard orchestral literature. The orchestra plays a series of concerts on campus and tours off campus as well. Dr. Sarch initiated a Student Soloist Competition in the Music Department at Mansfield University, now in its 10th year of offering students the opportunity to perform as soloist with the orchestra. Dr. Sarch also teaches the upper strings Class offered by the Music Education Department and supervises the new Clinic String Orchestral Lab. Dr. Sarch directs and coaches the string chamber music program at Mansfield University.
